Visitors, or possibly members of the Baldwin Family, are dressed for a special occasion at Santa Anita Ranch in Arcadia. The wheels of the horse-drawn carriage are decorated with calla lillies and each person is wearing a corsage. Five women are on foot, while four men are seated in the carriage on the far left. A glimpse of the Baldwin Cottage can be seen on the right in the background. The ranch was owned by E. J. "Lucky" Baldwin from 1875 to 1909.
