Description
Gore grew up in the Owens Valley on a dairy operation near Lone Pine. This interview preserves her recollections of her and her family's experience early 20th century Owens Valley, including her father's disappointment when an uphill member of his ditch cooperative sold his land and water rights to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, effectively putting Mr. Gore out of business.
