The back of the van is hand painted with flames and the words "Repent or Perish" and "prepare to meet thy God Amos 4:12". The van also has many bumper stickers placed on it, including one that reads "the street preacher" and another that is for the "D.A.R.E" program. The photograph was taken in the parking lot of the Anaheim Convention Center, during a "Jesus People" reunion.
