V1p369b In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 369 center left. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Caption printed on photo: "No. 224 Mission Dolores, May 15, 1906.Turrill & Miller, Photographers San Francisco." Text written under photo: "Mission Dolores Church. Note hole in roof caused by the falling from tower-April 18, 1906." The hole in the roof refers to the newer brick church building and not to the old mission structure, which a monument in the adjacent cemetery has fallen against. A row of new apartment houses are visible to the right on 16th Street. Corona Heights and Buena Vista Park can be seen in the distance.
