James C. Worthy discusses the 25th anniversary celebrations for Control Data Corporation and following the event a special committee was formed in an effort to encourage other businesses' to follow the example of Control Data. Worthy explains that the National Center for Pubic/Private Initiatives is the outcome of years of real-life examples in which companies deal effectively with social problems as business ventures. Lastly, Worthy states that Drucker was the first to realize that the best way to deal with social problems is to convert them into business opportunities.
