Description
Photograph of a naval officer standing on the deck of a battleship, [s.d.]. The admiral, identified by stripes on his sleeves, stands at center and faces the viewer. He wears a dark uniform consisting of a long, double-breasted coat, epaulets, a bicorn hat, tie and a sword. Behind him, dark-uniformed sailors can be seen lined up, facing to the left. The wooden deck of the ship can be seen below the admiral, and a large gun turret is visible at right.
