Photograph caption dated May 25, 1961 reads, "Sherman Oaks Little Leaguers will benefit from the proceeds of the second annual dinner dance June 3 planned by the League's Women's Auxiliary in the Starlie Room of Sportsmen's Lodge, 12833 Ventura Blvd., Studio City. Auxiliary officers warming up for event are, from left, Mmes. Maurice Freeman, umpire and treasurer; Joe Hasty, catching vice president, and Edward C. Jones, who takes turn at the bat as dance chairman. Social hour will begin at 7 p.m."
