Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Pomona Valley, taken from the San Jose Hills looking southeast, ca.1884. Most of the land has been divided into fields for agricultural use, and rows of crops can be seen growing on some of these fields. In the foreground at right, there is a forested area that does not show signs of the ordered orchard rows seen elsewhere in the picture. Throughout the valley, there are scattered several farm buildings, although they are not grouped in any discernable way.
