Description
Shown in circa 1953 is the Cafeteria at Sacramento State College, located at 6000 J Street. Situated along the American River side of campus, the structure could seat upwards of 500 students and contained special meeting rooms for both faculty and student groups. In its first years of existence, the Sacramento State food service was known for its spartan diet of hamburgers, coffee and breakfast rolls.
