Photograph was edited for publication purposes The $5,000 all-wood bungalow clubhouse, located at 14836 Sylvan Street (originally West Virginia Street), was designed by Reginald Harris and completed in 1917. The Woman's Club sold the building, a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, in the 1990s. Congregation Iglesia de Jesu Seristo Fuente de Amor later came to occupy the structure. Photograph article dated April 14, 1962 reads, "At the 50th anniversary celebration of the Van Nuys Women's Club, old and new members and district officers gathered to honor the club and to just reminisce. The highlights of the event, held Wednesday at the clubhouse, 14836 Sylvan St., were the presentation of a scroll from the General Federation of Women's Club by Mrs. G. Ray Sherwood, Sierra-Cahuenga District president; the cutting of the birthday cake and the election of new officers. Mrs. Lewis M.
