Photograph of a painting of Saint Michael, by Raphael, [s.d.]. The angel Michael stands with one foot on a strange winged and horned demon, which wraps its serpent-like tail around his leg. The saint holds a sword in the air, as though to strike, and holds a shield with a cross on it in his other hand. Michael's wings point towards the right, where several children stand, with snake-like demons wrapped around them. A bird-like demon stands atop an ox, at left, and a group of people can be seen in the background before a castle-like structure.
