Photograph caption dated March 6, 1965 reads, "An unidentified sailor takes a moment at Long Beach to watch the crew of the USS Capitaine bring her home. On the left is the Capitaine's sister ship, the USS Roncador. Roncador is the reservists training vessel in port. Her ballast tanks are sealed and controls disconnected so the men may run completely through their drills with no hazard."
