Description
Panoramic school portrait of students in front of Joaquin Miller Grade School, taken February 10, 1925. The school was named for writer-frontiersman Joaquin Miller, "Poet of the Sierras," opened in 1922. Notation on the photo reads: "Jouquin [sic] Miller, G.S., Burbank, Cal, 2-10-25" and [damaged] "H.A. Varble, Eagle Rock, CA."
