Description
Photograph of a refugee camp in San Francisco, 1906. A tent stands in the grass yard in the foreground on the right. A small sign is posted on a tree on the left while a large slab of wood leans against its back side. The slab appears to be tied to a second tree further back where bundles of belongings sit in the grass. Trees form a wall along the left side and continue around the background where people stand outside the tents of the camp. The town can be seen in the distance.
