Description
Photograph of the exterior view of the San Bernardino Public Library, ca.1905. The corner building is about two-stories tall. Proto-ionic columns support the angled portico. Ornamental traceries outline the tip of the roof and the walls a few feet below the roof. A dome tower protrudes above the roof. "Public Library" is embossed just above the portico. Near the roof on the right side of the building are the words "Erected A.D. 1903." A child (male) is sitting half way up the stairs while a dog on the bottom steps stare upwards. Two lampposts flank the stairs. A man can be seen working on top of the roof of another building (right).
