Description
This is a letter from Peter F. Drucker to Harold F. Smiddy. Drucker writes that he took Smiddy's advice about eliminating the distinction, in his writings on "Manager Manpower Planning", between "general managers" and "other managers". He goes on to discuss this distinction further, as well as the importance of risk-taking. This letter contains Drucker's full original signature.
