Description
Central Pacific Railroad 30-ton, 36-foot long wood box car, No. 70211, Class CS 14A. The photograph is most likely taken at the Sacramento Shops, circa 1902, when the car was new. Class 14A exhibits certain improvements over Class CS 14, including the addition of a small lumber door on the end. California Preservation Service (CAPS)
