Description

In the left foreground a block of snow thrusts diagonally into the photograph; on the right a woman in a dark dress and hat sits on a ridge of rock and appears to contemplate the snow; behind her a man in a suit, straw hat and boots places one foot on the snow and the other on the rock ridge; to the right and behind the woman also is another man in suit, hat and boots who faces to the right with his hands on his hips; the rock ridge extends into the photograph; behind these people rise ranges of mountains which extend to the horizon. "Works and Sun Sculpture Studios."
