Original print has a vertical crease in the middle of the picture. Photograph caption dated November 9, 1961 reads "Members of the Valley Symphony Orchestra rehearse at Polytechnic High School. The sessions bring together persons of many occupations and one interest-music." The article partially reads "Recently, the group which rehearses at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the music room at Polytechnic High School, 12431 Roscoe Blvd., Sun Valley, has been preparing for the opening concert of the orchestra's ninth season."
