Photograph caption dated September 18, 1957 reads "Blair Heisley, aerodynamics engineer of 7013 Cozy Kraft Lane, Canoga Park, shows Raymond del Prato how he wants to complete installation of prop-jet engine nacelle on wing of Electra model. Little electric engines in model actually turn propeller during wind tunnel tests which will follow when plane is complete. First Electra transport is slated to fly Jan. 31 for first time. Del Prato began as violin maker's apprentice in France as a boy and rose to become master in this field. Five years ago, his boyhood fascination for airplanes overcame him and now he is one of 30 model builders at Lockheed." See images 00155087 through 00155089 for all photos in this series.
