Photograph (streetscape camera direction: due east horizontal photography) of a cityscape of Los Angeles viewed from the Crocker Mansion on Bunker Hill, ca.1890. The grounds of the mansion (foreground), include a circular driveway curving around some trees in the yard. The roofs of residences (some quite large), the steeple of a church (right), and commercial buildings (background) make up the cityscape. Also included in the view are Third Street, Olive Street and Hill Street.
