Description
HMong story cloth (paj ntaub) made of blue fabric. Embroidered motifs in the central design include blue, gray, and brown cross stitched double snail (lub qwj yees) and house (lub tsev) motifs. A border of blue and pink cross stitch with embroidered fence (laj kab) motifs borders the central design. An reverse appliquéd border with mountain (rooj) motif in blue, white, and brown encompass the inner designs. Textile identified by the SEACRC as having been created by a Ban Vinai refugee.
