Description
Photograph of the old Stanislaus Flour Mill, Knight's Ferry, ca.1930. The mill, operated by water, stands center amongst a backdrop of trees below. The structure's walls appear to be brick and the shingled roof is damaged on the edges. Several brick walls lead out of the main structure with small bushes lining the bases. A wooden part of the mill in the foreground is built into the rocky hill the main structure sits on and is supported by the large wooden poles below. The mill was built about 1864 by Lock and Dent and has not been used since 1880.
