Pictured in 1958, and posing next to a historic painting, are a few Sacramento-area notables signing a document. The seated woman is Genevieve Didion, longtime member of the Board of the Sacramento Unified School District. She started her run into public service in 1942, dying while in office in 1974. To the left of the photograph is Judge Percy West. He served as a Sacramento County municipal judge and enjoyed a stint as a California State Assemblyman. West died in 1959. The man on the far left is Guy Foulks, owner of Foulks Oldsmobile Company.
