Description: The Kendren Community Health Center is lead float in the parade climaxing the Watts Summer Festival. This section of the half-mile long parade is shown on Central Avenue at 103rd Street. Spectators crowd both sides of the street, and attendance was estimated at 45,000. Photo dated: August 14, 1967.
