Description
Bungalow City, later named Stovepipe Wells, in Death Valley, opened up to tourists on 1 November 1926. Mountains are in the distance. Stovepipe Wells is a small way-station in the northern part of Death Valley, California. Close to town are some fairly large and accessible sand dunes. January 1928.
