School portrait of former pupils from the Oregon City School in Oregon City, Butte County, taken on May 8, 1966. Donor: Gertrude Bartley/ B.C.H.S (loan)
Sitting L to R: Tony Nunes (x), Chas. Johnson. Rear L to R: Chet Nesbit, Mattie Lund, Dan (?) Hodge (Hedge), Elinore Forbes. (x) is oldest living pupil Oregon City School. Others also former pupils. Taken day of. The dedication of the monument May 8, 1966 at the school house--built about 1871 or 2. I spoke at the dedication. I graduated here from grammar school, Oregon City, 1907
