Photograph article dated March 15, 1963 partially reads, "After 36 consecutive scoreless innings, the Grant Lancers felt the sting of the bats Thursday. Applying the necessary bombardment was the Van Nuys Wolves who scored in four different innings to defeat Grant, 5-2, at Sepulveda Basin Recreation Park." Photograph caption reads, "Steve Herrick reaches first base for Van Nuys High and scores later - Grant's Rick Amazola goes afterr [sic] wild throw in Grant's 5-3 loss."
