The entire neighborhood of Berkeley Square has since been demolished.
Photograph caption dated April 1, 1962 reads, "...shows Gramercy Place gate to the once fashionable residential area." Seen beyond the partially demolished gate are the remains of Berkeley Square, a private residential community in the West Adams District of Los Angeles.
