Description
"Over paa den andre siden" ("Over on the other side"). "Over on the other side" refers to NMS/Photo/A03Ma/156, where the village of Fitamalama lies on the one side of the river. Fitamalama, literally, "the slippery crossing," is between Betafo and Ambohimasina. On the picture there is a man holding a bicycle and others outside their houses. The houses have straw roofs.
Thomas Joergensen was a missionary in Central Madagascar from 1897-1947.
