Description
Image of two vignettes featuring men and women in a parlor, on a patio, and outdoors; fashion details include flounced skirts worn with or without an apron, trousers, pantaloons, and breeches worn with frock coats or tail coats, waistcoats and cravats; accessories include floral headdresses or bonnets, shawls, gloves, canes, and a riding crop; specialized men's attire includes a military uniform complete with sword and feathered hat, a hunting/sporting outfit featuring a belted frock coat and rifle, and Orientalism-influenced indoor smoking attire featuring a tunic, pantaloons, point-toed slippers and a tasseled fez hat; reference key for figures numbered 1-14 along bottom margin.
