hoopSalute team photo autographed by coaches Angela Beck and Lin Dunn. hoopSalute was a tribute to women's basketball fans and players that evolved out of the demise of the Palo Alto-based American Basketball League, hosting a weekend of events in January 1999 that included an "all-star" game at DeAnza College. Players included Jennifer Azzi, Teresa Edwards, Kate Starbird, Sonja Henning, Anita Kaplan, Kate Paye, Naomi Mulitauaopele, Katy Steding, Kedra Holland-Corn, Edna Campbell, Clarisse Machanguana, Laurie Byrd, Natalie Williams and Anna DeForge.
