Union Hotel by M. Caya: Fourth of July Celebration. Port Wine. Late 80s. Yes several I recall-- strange as it seems-- lots of water has gone under the bridge. Name some eh? Who cares whos who and no one to check. Well there is: Sam Farren-- Rilla's father, George Caya-- Rilla's Uncle, Dave Moore-- Auntie Lo's husband, Press Lord-- more kin of Rilla's how come, Johnny Mason-- He's Susie's husband Cassidy, Seth Allen-- etc. etc. Life at Port Wine not solidarity-- there were a lot of people residing in the areas surrounding the numerous communities in the post gold rush days, as this picture shows. More than 50 are gathered here at the Port Wine Union Hotel to celebrate July 4, probably in the late 80s. Some are identified
