Description
Photograph of a view of a boathouse on the lake in Westlake Park in Los Angeles, ca.1900. The light-colored boathouse can be seen on the shore of the lake at center. The hull of a small boat is visible beneath a large overhang at left. The water of the lake is calm and partially reflects its surroundings. Rows of trees and bushes encircle the lake, while a line of utility poles runs across the image in the background. A house can be seen on a hill in the distance at right.
