Photograph caption dated February 24, 1959 reads, "Pete W. Washton, 23, left, of Van Nuys, and Jack A. Crose, 20, of Pacoima, sit in Newhall sheriff's substation after they were booked on suspicion of robbery. They are accused of holding up cafe at 13136 Sierra Highway near Newhall and escaping with $150."
