The mother is seated on a chair in center of the photograph, holding a small child on her lap, looking at a piece of paper held in her hands. She is smiling. An older child is on the left side of the photograph, also regarding the piece of paper. There is another child, right side of the photograph, facing towards the mother and children. There are balloons in the background, as well as an older man of Chilese origin.
