Title supplied by cataloger. Artie Shaw and Lana Turner were married on February 13, 1940, in a last second ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada. Turner was only 19 years old. The marriage shocked and surprised many and was highly publicized. Their marriage was turbulent and abusive and lasted just shy of seven months. Photograph caption dated June 13, 1940 reads "Try to figure it out! Is Artie Shaw telling Mickey Rooney a story or is it vice-versa? Artie and his bride Lana Turner dropped in at the Victor Hugo the other evening when Mickey sat down for a chat."
