Description
The groundbreaking ceremony for Harper East took place on 1965 December 2. Pictured next to a set of architectural drawings are (left to right): Ruth Harper Munger, Mrs. William S. Rosecrans, Joseph Pengilly, Luther Lee, and Louis T. Bénézet. Pictured near Ruth Harper Munger's shovel is an old Native American artifact found during the original excavation for Harper Hall. This color slide was received from Harrison Stephens on 1979 January 31.
