Microfilm of a diary probably kept by Lewis William Barry Wride from 1898-1901. The diary opens with Wride's departure from American Fork in November 1898 and records his travels to Mexico. The diary resumes in 1900 and traces Wride's daily life in Mexico and Utah until 1901. On the same reel as MFILM 402 (item 2), diary of Barry Wride. Lewis William Barry Wride (1864-1934) was born in Provo, Utah. He was a son of Barry Wride (1833-1913) and Hannah Selman Wride (1838-1891), and married Harriet Stark Wride (1866-1944). Wride died in Payson, Utah, in 1934.
