Photograph caption dated June 4, 1958 reads, "Jerry Mathers, 11-year-old TV star of "Leave It To Beaver," receives passbook from director M. A. Vargo as he opens his College Club savings account at North Hollywood Federal Savings and Loan Association. Program allows parents or children to save for college expenses in systematic account."
