Photograph of individual member portraits of Directors of the Los Angeles Public Library: I. B. Dockweiler, J. W. Trueworthy, J. Ross Clark, President D. W. Edelman, and Lee A. Phillips, 1902. The portraits of three men can be seen next to one another across center, while two other portraits can be seen above and below the center circular portrait. The men at center and to the right have beards and mustaches, while the men at left and at top only have mustaches. The man at bottom is clean-shaven and wears glasses. All of the men are visible wearing tuxes with bowties, except for the man at bottom who wears a tie. The names of each man can be seen below their portraits, while "Directors Public Library" is visible surrounding the portraits across the center.
