Description
42022 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition $40,000,000 Golden Gate World's Fair, as it appears in its spectacular setting - on the world's largest man-made island in the center of San Francisco Bay. In the immediate foreground is the semi-circular $800,000 Exposition Administration Building, with the two $400,000 airplane hangars, to be used as exhibit palaces at the right. Along the boulevard at the left are: the major gateway of Oriental design, the majestic 392 foot Exposition tower and ferry terminal.
