Description
A line of 12 train cars have been converted into homes for people living in Pacheco. A man and two children are outside one of the car-homes. Two children climb the short stairs that lead into the home. Between 1983-1988, the 80's were considered to be the "lost decade" because of Mexico's debt crisis. This was due to the falling oil prices that left Mexico without foreign currencies to pay off its $80 billion debt. This in effect, increased high levels of unemployement, especially in rural areas.
