Description
Shown is a circa 1980 photo of the Fox and Goose Public House, located at 1001 R Street. The public house inhabited a brick building constructed in 1913 for the Fuller Glass and Paint Company. Fox and Goose owners Bill and Denise Dalton took possession of the building in 1972 and converted it into the public house. The Fox and Goose officially opened its doors in 1975 serving alcohol and liquor from the United Kingdom and Ireland with a varied menu. In 1995, the bar was purchased by the Dalton's daughter Allyson.
