This is the sixteenth and final track of an interview series with Peter Drucker and Fred Harmon on innovation and entrepreneurship. Drucker and Harmon continue their conversation with John A. McNeice Jr and C. Herbert Emilson of Colonial Management Associates Inc. McNeice and Emilson discuss a failed attempt to enter the pension market and the decision to direct people and resources elsewhere. They warn against becoming isolated from people and the market, and advise listeners to look at their strengths and consider where they can make a contribution in relation to market needs. Following the interview Drucker and Harmon review the overall series. Drucker concludes that the interviews demonstrate that innovation begins with a search for opportunities. He argues that innovation should be simple, start small, and aim at leadership from the beginning.
