Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph caption dated May 11, 1957 reads "Mrs. Robert Herman, 6940 Babcock, North Hollywood, finds her son an avid listener when she reads the exciting adventures of Robin Hood. This first volume in the Valley Times Library of Junior Classics series is very popular with young boys. In this case young Master Herman has a special reason for liking the main character in the book--his first name is Robin too. Volumes can be obtained at all Valley Times offices for 99 cents, plus tax and six differently numbered coupons clipped from Page 2. There are 12 complete volumes in this cultural series."
