Original print has visible crease across middle. Photograph article dated February 29, 1964 partially reads, "Take a plain cigar box. Glue some macaroni on it, spray it with gold and silver, line it with colorful velvet and you have a fancy jewelry box. It sounds simple - but it isn't. It takes a special kind of knack. Mrs. Austin L. Davis of Panorama City has that special artistic touch it takes to be good at handicrafts. She can turn an empty coke bottle into a decortor [sic] item. She takes odds and ends from old jewelry and makes a fancy necklace and createst [sic] elegant centerpieces for luncheons from artificial flowers and statues. She forms melted plastic crystals into salad bowls and hors d'oeuvres trays." Note: Mrs. Austin L. Davis designs a centerpiece for club luncheon.
