This is a photograph of "Fr. Quirk annointing a group of candidates during Baptismal ceremony on Holy Saturday." Born in New Hampshire, Fr. Quirk came to Maryknoll in 1926 and was ordained to the priesthood on January 26, 1930. He was assigned to Fushun, Manchuria and remained there until he was repatriated in 1943. He temporarily returned to Kweilin in 1946. He was missioned in Musoma, Africa and later Taiwan.
