Photograph caption dated May 9, 1950 reads, "James Kessel of Bu-rbank [sic], winner of Pershing Radio and Television Company's 'Name the Girl' contest, accepts congratulations from Everett Pershing, center, as Dick Spies, company sales manager, watches at right. Kessell won TV set for identifying 'Miss National Defense of 1941' at Burbank on Parade booth."
