Description
The caption printed in the Sacramento Bee February 24, 1969 reads: "These artists sketches show the planned $2.5 million restaurant to be built above Interstate 80 in the area bounded by W, X, 6th and 8th Streets above the South Side Park near the east end of the Pioneer Memorial Bridge. The State Highway Commission has approved leasing the two blocks of air space above the freeway The bottom (subject) sketch shows a side view of the project. The facility will be operated by Camino Foods, Inc., which also operates the food facility at the Houston Astrodome."
